Ravi Shankar, RIP

Ravi Shankar, the virtuoso sitar player and the man reponsible for bringing Indian music to the West, has died at the age of 92.

Here he is with his old friend and pupil George Harrison back in 1968. And here’s his set from The Monterey Pop Festival in 1967.
